First came a message from our home church - Napa Valley Baptist Church in Napa, California. The NVBC Missions Team recommended adding "The Dartts" as a supported missionary at $100.00 a month. The congregation approved it on Sunday, January 29, 2012. This is a real blessing, as we have been asking God to enable us to pay for health insurance for Stoney and for BJ. This support from our home church will make up about 20% of the total amount needed on a monthly basis. Please pray with us that God will provide the additional funds to meet this goal.

     We thank God for the love, prayers, and support of our home church in Napa, CA. We have been members there since May of 1995, when we moved into the area and began our ministry as "The Dartts". Our pastor, Ron Driscoll, is a faithful man of God, and a continuing source of encouragement to The Dartts.

     Our calendar continues to fill, as Tracy calls pastors and pastors call Tracy to schedule concerts and meetings, for this year and next year. We are near 180 bookings now for 2012, with a goal of 200 for the year. We have 18 meetings scheduled in February, here in Florida, by the grace of God! Our desire is to see hundreds of souls saved and for more hearts to be blessed as we travel and sing this year - coast to coast, and border to border.

     2012 looks to be (Lord Willing) a great year of new beginnings. We began with 14 salvation decisions on New Years Day. We already have over 170 dates scheduled for this year, and several dates in 2013.  "The God On The Mountain Legacy - Music From The Motion Picture" album is due to release in March, and we are working on music for a new album to be recorded in the summer.

     All of this needs much prayer, and we are so thankful for our prayer warriors, literally all over the world. Thank you for your prayers and support, and thank you, Lord, for your Grace and Love and Provision.

     This past week marks the one year anniversary of Tracy's kidney transplant, which took place on January 11, 2011. As you may recall, Tracy and Sharon had remained at home all of 2009 and 2010, while Tracy was on dialysis at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Son, Stoney, and BJ Speer had continued traveling full time, as the Dartts prayed and waited for God to provide just the right donor. When the fifteenth volunteer, John Childers, successfully completed all tests, surgery was scheduled for early in 2011. All went well, and Tracy and Sharon were able to return to the road for seven weeks in April and May. An unexpected spinal surgery in July meant another six weeks of recovery for Tracy, but he and Sharon were back on the road in September. With Tracy, Sharon, Stone, & BJ traveling and singing together for a total of about twenty-five weeks in 2011, a miraculous answer to the prayers of many, many people across the country, "The Dartts" are able to be a quartet again.

     The Dartts' travels in 2011 included concerts in 30 states and Canada. One tour in the fall marked the first time The Dartts had made stops in North and South Dakota and Minnesota. Their Jubilee At Sea Fall Foliage Gospel Music Cruise, up the coast of New England into Canada, brought about an unprecedented opportunity in September. Royal Caribbean staff members heard Stoney & BJ doing sound check, and suggested an open concert for all passengers on the ship. On the last day of the cruise, in the main auditorium, 528 people, of the 2000 passengers on board, attended the concert. They heard "The Dartts", soloists; Billy Speer, Billy Brisendine, and Chuck Hogard, and a trio from California called "Glorybound! Of Southern California." At the close of the program, the Gospel was presented, and dozens of voices were heard praying a sinner's prayer aloud. Only the Lord could have opened up this door of ministry for us. 

     The Dartts were joined by Billy and Paula Speer, as they wrapped up the year's travels with Christmas concerts on the east coast, from Florida to New Jersey. 2011 was an amazing year of answered prayer and divine provision. The Gospel was presented at every concert, and scores of raised hands indicated salvation decisions from coast to coast. And the wonderful thing is 14 more souls were saved in concerts on New Years Day of 2012! Praise God for His faithfulness and for His marvelous mercy! And many thanks to all those who have kept us in their prayers! Please join us in prayer as we ask God for many more souls in 2012 and for more new doors of opportunity to be opened for the ministry of "The Dartts!"

He is expected to remain in the hospital for a few days, followed by a few weeks of recovery at home. Stoney and BJ left Nashville in March after an extensive Florida tour that kept them quite busy. Tracy and Sharon were able to fly home to Nashville for two days to see their granddaughter, Rachel Dartt graduate from Hendersonville High School. Next week, they have a grandson, Rain Forrest Dartt, graduating from Clarksville High School. This last tour has been a whirlwind for the Dartts as they have ministered in 13 states in just the past three months! They were able to see several friends from across the country and over 30 souls saved. The Dartts now head home to TN, where they have a few days to regroup before heading out to Pennsylvania for three weeks. As Tracy continues to gather strength from his recent kidney transplant, they still have many prayer needs. He has been dealing with weakness in his legs which caused several hard falls. He has managed to gain some strength but still has a way to go! Again, THANK YOU to all of the faithful friends, churches, fans, and family that have sent their love, support, and financial gifts over the past couple years as the Dartts have faced a valley.      Tracy's donor, John, has had an amazingly quick recovery and has been such a blessing, not only in the fact that he made such a great sacrifice to come to the aid of our family by donating a kidney to Tracy, but also in the fact that he made such a selfless effort to make sure that he had care-giving help from his own family to aid him through the recovery process. We could never say enough to thank John, and we say thanks also to all of you who have been asking about and praying for him.

     The extra-good news is that recently, Tracy's doctors gave the OK for him to return to touring in April. The date has been set, the tickets have been booked - Tracy and Sharon are set to join Stone and BJ on the road in Southern California on April 9th. Stone and BJ are currently on tour in Florida and will be starting out toward the Pacific coast mid-March.

     Many, many thanks to those who have offered up prayers and to those who have so kindly helped by sending financial support. It has been so encouraging to see such a wonderful out-pouring of love and care. Our needs are great, but we know that God is much greater! Please continue to pray as we are trusting God to continue to bless in Tracy's recovery, and for blessings in filling our touring schedule as well. We are also praying for wisdom and provision in the areas of recording a new project and upgrading our 1995 model tour bus to something a few years newer ( '99 - '01 ) to better meet our current touring facility needs.

Tracy's donor, John, was visited earlier in the day by the doctor, who was pleased with his improvement enough to authorize his release from the hospital this evening. John opted to take one of his family members up on the offer of caring for him at their home, and he is there now and resting well. His appetite has improved and his feelings of disorientation seem to have subsided.

John's mother actually passed away on Tuesday morning, just about 3 hours after John was taken into the operating room for the kidney transplant. Please be in prayer for John & his family as they deal with this loss and pray also for save travels as they go to the funeral this next week.

READ ON TO FIND OUT HOW YOU CAN HELP THE DARTTS...

     After two years of being off the road to undergo "in-clinic" dialysis treatments with His wife, Sharon, by his side, a date has now been set for a kidney transplant surgery for Tracy Dartt (author of the song, "God On The Mountain"). The Dartts moved to the Nashville, Tennessee area in mid-2008 in order to have a more central hub-location from which to base their concert tours. Within months of making the move to Tennessee, Tracy's kidneys had gone into complete failure. Due to his medical history, there was no choice for Tracy but to go off the road in order to undergo dialysis treatments 3 times a week at a local dialysis clinic. Sharon, of course, made the decision to stay at home with him. In the past 18 months, many people, including several family members, have stepped forward to volunteer a kidney to Tracy. One by one, these volunteers were deemed ineligible by the hospital's transplant committee for one reason or another.

        In the meantime, the ministry of The Dartts has continued, with the touring and singing being carried on by Stone Dartt and BJ Speer. Stone Dartt is the youngest of Tracy and Sharon's four children and a charter member of The Dartts. BJ Speer has been a full-time member of The Dartts since 2005, and is no stranger to the world of Gospel music, having been raised by his parents, Billy and Paula Speer, who have been in Gospel music ministry for more than 40 years. The ministry of The Dartts continues to uplift and encourage Christians and continues to see many, many souls come to Christ. While Stone and BJ have continued the touring aspect of the ministry, Tracy and Sharon have continued the important work of the ministry's scheduling and office-work.

  2010 was indeed the most difficult year yet for The Dartts' ministry. A typical touring year for The Dartts would range from 180 to 210 concerts, but in 2010 alone, The Dartts were faced with an unprecedented 67 cancellations. Many of these cancellations came with such short notice that it was impossible to replace them, resulting in a loss of nearly half of their income for the year, and while the calendar is coming together for the Spring of 2011 and beyond, the ministry has taken a big hit financially and has been unable to pay even basic salaries on several occasions.

Just a few months ago, a gentleman from the Nashville area stepped forward to volunteer his kidney to Tracy. After months of test after test and waiting on results, and more testing, and more waiting, God has given a "yes" answer to the prayers of many, many people around the globe. A date has now been set for Tracy's kidney transplant surgery. That date is January 11th, 2011. By the time many of you read this, it is quite likely that the surgery is done and over with, and we trust that Tracy and his volunteer donor are recovering well. After the surgery, Tracy and the donor are expected to remain in the hospital for several days, and will then both be sent home for care and recovery. Tracy and the donor will need 24-hour care for at least 8 days, followed by several weeks of recovery time, followed by months of follow-up medical visits to make sure recovery is progressing well. God makes no mistakes, and since it has been almost impossible for Tracy to get any concerts scheduled for the month of January, it works out perfectly for Stone and BJ to be at home with he and Sharon for several weeks in order to help out as care-givers.

        As you can imagine, this is a time of great financial need for the Dartt family and for the ministry of The Dartts. They are trusting the Lord for a great year of touring for the Spring of 2011 and beyond, with a strong hope that Tracy and Sharon will once again join Stone and BJ on the road to carry on the ministry of The Dartts. However, the Dartt family needs financial help now, as they are currently struggling financially and facing January with just 4 concerts on the schedule. This comes at a time when they are facing post-transplant medical expenses, with some advising to expect expenses of $25,000 or more, in addition to their ongoing monthly financial obligations.

        We are asking you to prayerfully ask the Lord what he would have you and your church family do financially to help the Dartt family and the ministry of The Dartts at this time by way of a monetary love gift.
