I recently purchased a DVD from Calvin Gann, a friend, here in Panama City, FL. I was thrilled to see the Dartts on the video. You see, as a teen-ager growing up in Marysville, CA, Tracy frequented our church, Bible Baptist Church on many occasions. I was thrilled to see what I consider and old friend from my childhood on this DVD. If the Dartts ever get the chance to come even remotely close to Panama City, please let me know. I would love to see you again.

Hello my friends. I am always eager to read about the family. It sounds like things are stable while you are on your dialysis. Our boys still talk about yall. Many times when we pull up to Bass Pro they bring up the time when they rode in the Dartts' bus to go eat. We pray the Lord's blessing on your family as you continue to serve Him in 2010.

Don't know if you would remember me, I'm Freeman Jones' son. I was close to Stone as a kid at Calvary Baptist. The Stewards stated my "clsot" love of gosple quartets. That was hard for a kid playing in a rock band. Tracy had such an amazing range, and they had such a great sound. I used to get a kick out of watching Charlie.

We were young teens in Royal Center, Indiana (1980's) When you and your family came to Our church Faith Baptist Church. We had a 4th of July old fashion tent meeting.You were at our church several times. I was just woundering if you remembered us. The song God on the Mountain is my favorite song. My mom and I sing it together. She is the one that introduced me to it. I lost my husband last year and when she heard the song she wrote down the words to it to sing to me. I still have trouble singing it sometimes but I really have a happy heart hearing it.

Found out from Ray Buford you were still kicking. I was a member of "New Covenant" the band that recorded "His Love Set Me Free".
I now perform with "Jazz For Jesus" an 18 piece Christian big band. We perform at churches, weddings, car shows, conventions, high school reunions and other special occasions. Our most notable gig being the Anaheim "House of Blues".

Is there anywhere on the internet that I can listen to Did David Do the Polka? I have never heard the song, but have been looking for it for a some time. Never knew the same person wrote God on the Mountain, which I have sang many times at Gospel Sings in our area.
My husband, a Pastor, does perform funny songs at times and people enjoy him. When we heard about the Polka Song, we wanted to hear it and never could find any information on it. Didn't know who wrote it or who perfromed it, etc. Am looking forward to hearing your group, since I just learned of Tracy Dartt.
